I love sharing progress pictures of my client’s spaces. This one is from the Highridge Remodel in Trabuco Canyon. With new furniture, a simple rug, custom draperies, gold accents, and my favorite touch those olive trees and fiddle leaf fig, we’ve begun to transform this outdated space into a place anyone would be excited to gather for a meal!
Working with white walls is always so much fun for me. I appreciate a client who wants their space to feel light and bright, and yet still inviting and comfortable. I feel like we’ve achieved all of that here in this small space.
DESIGN IS A FUNNY WORD. SOME PEOPLE THINK DESIGN MEANS HOW IT LOOKS. BUT OF COURSE, IF YOU DIG DEEPER, IT’S REALLY HOW IT WORKS.
The Living Room is still a work in progress, but I love sharing my Mood Boards to get a sense of where we are going with things. What could be better than those velvet dusty pink chairs with gold accents. Swoon worthy for sure!
My client loves a good mix of tradition clean lines with a more modern and updated feel. A favorite technique of mine is to include a lot of texture. The soft fabrics with the rattan table, linen sofa, vintage rug and brass accents are visually exciting without being too overbearing for my client who usually shys away from color. Here, the color is subtle and the textures do a lot of the talking. It works!
